摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a polymer that is safely handled and has a highly-monodispersed molecular weight distribution, the method producing a polymer in a cation polymerization reaction using a Broensted acid as a polymerization initiator, and to provide a reaction system used for the production method.SOLUTION: In a production method of a polymer, a Broensted acid precursor solution, a cation polymerizable monomer solution, and a polymerization terminator are introduced in a first channel, a second channel, and a third channel respectively. While each solution flows in the corresponding channel, the Broensted acid precursor flowing in the first channel is irradiated with light to produce a Broensted acid. The Broensted acid solution is merged with the monomer solution flowing in the second channel to subject the monomer to cation polymerization in a reaction channel. The polymer reactant solution flowing in the reaction channel is merged with the polymerization terminator flowing in the third channel to terminate the polymerization reaction to obtain a polymer solution. A flow-type reaction system is used for the production method.
