PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idle stop control device which can stop an engine under a further proper condition without directly detecting a battery residual quantity.SOLUTION: An idle stop control device has: a light switch 88B of a headlight 29A; an engine rotation number sensor 123; an idle stop switch (IS switch) 80 which commands the execution of idle stop control; and a control part 101 which performs the idle stop for stopping an engine 12A on the basis of the information on at least the light switch 88B, the IS switch 80 and the engine rotation number sensor 123. The idle stop control device also comprises a neutral switch 125 which detects a neutral state of a transmission 12B, and the control part 101 sets, as an idle stop permission condition, the fact that the engine 12A is within a prescribed low-rotation number region, the light switch 88B is turned off, and there is a history that gear change motions are performed a plurality of times, and when the IS switch 80 is on-operated when the permission condition is satisfied, the control part performs the idle stop. |
