PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely restrict stay of air in a cooling medium manifold by a simple, economical configuration.SOLUTION: A fuel battery stack 10 comprises a second end plate 18b. The second end plate 18b is provided with two cooling-medium supply communication hole 50a, upper and lower. A cooling-medium supply manifold 72a is attached to the second end plate 18b so as to cover each cooling medium supply communication hole 50a. An upper wall 98a is provided in the space 72ac of the cooling medium supply manifold 72a so as to incline from a horizontal direction.
