[Class 100 (ii).] In making boxes with hinged lids and neck inserts the lid portion is arched and with the body portions is folded with a neck strip in a single shaping channel by a forming block which has a convex surface corresponding to the arching of the lid. As shown, the lid blanks Zo are fed from a pile 1 to a press 3, 4, 5 which arches them and lugs 6 on the blank feeding plunger 2 engage each arched lid blank and feeds it over the shaping channel 8. |
