PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop rotation of a motor to avoid a fall of an object even when the object is not fastened and an impact is not generated when loosening the fastening of the object such as a nut by reversely rotating the motor, in a rotary impact tool.SOLUTION: In a rotary impact tool, when loosening fastening of a nut or the like by reversely rotating a motor, in a case that a speed command value which is set according to an operation amount of a trigger switch reaches a specified value or larger (S250-YES) a limit change flag is set (S320) while an impact by an impact mechanism is not detected for a set timer or longer (S310), and the speed command value of the motor is lowered or set at zero. Furthermore, in a case that the speed command value is smaller than the specified value (S250-NO), the drive of the motor by the speed command value is continued. |
