PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which allows for connection of a mating terminal while restricting the movement of a movable housing in a direction orthogonal to a substrate, and allows for releasing movement restriction of a movable housing without operating externally.SOLUTION: Since movement of a movable housing 20 is restricted by a first movable member 30 when connecting with a mating terminal 3, the mating terminal can be inserted while restricting movement of the movable housing 20 in a direction orthogonal to a substrate 1. Since a terminal 50 is not deformed elastically by the insertion pressure of the mating terminal 3, the fitting length (insertion amount) of the mating terminal 3 for the terminal 50 can be obtained sufficiently. Furthermore, movement restriction of the movable housing 20 can be released automatically without operating externally, by inserting the mating terminal 3 while abutting a mating connector 2 against a second movable member 40. |
