PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device that prevents, even when the range in which a virtual image is available is limited in front of a user in a visual line direction, the range of the virtual image available from becoming narrow.SOLUTION: The head-up display device projects a video from a projector 4 to a first screen 20 and a second screen 21, respectively, so that the videos projected on the first screen 20 and the second screen 21 are reflected on a front window 6 of a vehicle 2 to be recognized by a passenger 7 of the vehicle, and thereby creating a virtual image of the videos recognized by the passenger 7 of the vehicle. The head-up display device drives a driving mechanism 26 to move a light source 19 and a projection lens 15 of the projector 4 integrally along a direction intersecting an optical path, so as to change the range in which the video is projected on the first screen 20 and the second screen 21, respectively. |
