PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the defrost time while unfailingly preventing a liquid from returning to a compressor during defrost operation in a refrigeration cycle device.SOLUTION: A refrigeration cycle device includes: a hot gas bypass pipeline 11 which is provided between a compressor 1 and an evaporator 7 and bypasses condensers 4a, 4b; a flow rate controller 12 which is installed on the hot gas bypass pipeline 11 and controls a flow rate of a refrigerant flowing in the hot gas bypass pipeline 11; refrigerant state detecting means 20 which detects a discharge overheat degree SH and a discharge pressure Pout of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 1; and defrost controlling means 30 which causes the flow rate controller 12 to increase and decrease the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing in the hot gas bypass pipeline 11 according to the discharge overheat degree SH and the discharge pressure Pout during defrost control. |
