PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for injecting predetermined gas into a piping pipe in order to prevent abnormal rise of a pressure in the piping pipe to which a water flow detector or a sprinkler head on the secondary side of a deluge valve is connected, in a sprinkler facility or a foam fire-extinguishing facility.SOLUTION: A gas injection device including connection piping pipe, a gas vessel, an orifice, or the like is connected to a drain valve for draining a fire extinguishing liquid in a piping pipe to which a sprinkler head is connected, and after filling predetermined gas into the connection piping pipe, the fire extinguishing liquid is replaced by the predetermined gas by operating the drain valve. |
