PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video monitoring device which edits to display video images on a screen that does not require complicated operation, even with increased number of cameras.SOLUTION: A video monitoring device receives video images respectively taken by a plurality of cameras 2-1 to 2-N, and displays a predetermined video image among a plurality of the video images on a screen of a monitor 15. The video monitoring device comprises: information display control means 12 for selecting an object to be superimposed on the predetermined image and displayed on the basis of the user's instruction, and determining a position to display the object on the basis of the user's instruction; and video output means 14 for displaying the predetermined image, and displaying the object selected by the information display control means 12 at a position determined by the user's instruction. Thereby, video images taken by the cameras can be easily selected even with increased number of cameras, so the operation is not complicated. |
