PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission and reception of a start signal without increasing power consumption of a node in a sleep mode.SOLUTION: In an encoding/decoding unit 22 comprised in a transceiver, a transmission side selector 28 and a reception side selector 30 selects encoded transmission data (output of an encoding circuit 27) and decoded reception data (output of a decoding circuit 29), respectively, when an operation mode indicated by a mode setting signal NSLP is a normal mode, and selects transmission data which is not encoded (transmission data TXD) and reception data which is not decoded (reception data RX), respectively, when the operation mode is a sleep mode. This enables communication between nodes by using data TX, RX which is encoded into a PWM code in the normal mode, and enables transmission and reception of a wake-up pulse by using data TX, RX which is not encoded in the sleep mode. |
