PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device which melts wax on a fuel filter at early time.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device includes a fuel tank 1, a fuel filter 2, a fuel feed pump 3, fuel injection means 5, a leak fuel return channel 20 which returns leak fuel returned from the fuel injection means 5 to the fuel tank 1, a surplus fuel return channel 23 which returns surplus fuel of the fuel feed pump 3 to the fuel tank 1, control means 6 which controls the fuel feed pump 3 and the fuel injection means 5 and a fuel temperature detector 7. Therein, when it is detected that fuel is at such a temperature that there is a danger of turning into wax-like material, the control means 6 selects first control which subjects a solenoid valve 60 in the fuel injection means 5 to idling drive, a second control which increases pressure of fuel pumped by the fuel feed pump 3 or a third control which performs both of the first control and the second control, and increases temperature or flow rate of fuel flowing into the fuel filter 2. |
