PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool that contributes to suppression of use in a state in which load torque decreases when a motor stops rotating.SOLUTION: An electric power tool 1 comprises: a motor 30; a clutch part 50; a tool output shaft 60; a load detection part 81; a driving period measurement part 120; a storage part 110; and a control part 100. The motor 30 has a tool drive shaft 32. The clutch part 50 connects or disconnects a transmission path of torque between the tool drive shaft 32 and the tool output shaft 60 based upon load torque of the tool output shaft 60. The load detection part 81 outputs a load torque signal varying according to an operation of the clutch part 50. The storage part 110 stores cumulative drive period information. The drive period measurement part 120 updates the cumulative drive period information according to a cumulative drive period of the electric power tool 1. The control part controls the motor 30 on the basis of the cumulative drive period information. |
