Hydrostatic drive system with a feed pump

The hydrostatic drive system has a feed pump (25) for supplying a charge pressure circuit. The feed pump is formed as stroke-constant and suction-throttled piston pump (40), which is driven in an open circuit. The piston pump intakes the pressure medium from a container (10). The piston pump is supplied in a supply line (27). The piston pump is provided for shifting the supply current with an internal flow rate limit (41) and a variable suction throttle unit (42). An independent claim is also included for a mobile work machine with a drive hydraulic pump.
