PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a portable terminal device of transmission object without setting the transmission destination individually, and to transmit the read image data to the portable terminal device thus specified.SOLUTION: The image transmitter includes image reading means for creating image data by reading an original image, position information acquisition means for acquiring its own position information, distance determination means for determining whether or not the distance from a position indicated by the position information acquired by the position information acquisition means to one or more movable portable terminal devices connected via a network falls within a predetermined range, and image transmission means for transmitting the image data created by the image reading means to the portable terminal device determined to fall within a predetermined range by the distance determination means. |
