PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery which is excellent in cycle characteristics even if silicon is used, and also to provide a negative electrode for the lithium ion secondary battery and the lithium ion secondary battery equipped with the negative electrode.SOLUTION: A negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery is characterized in that one or both of silicon and silicon monoxide, a transition metal chalcogenide, a conductive assistant and a binder are compounded; and a negative electrode for the lithium ion secondary battery is characterized in that a negative electrode active material layer formed using such a negative electrode material for the lithium ion secondary battery is equipped on a current collector; and the lithium ion secondary battery is characterized in having such a negative electrode for the lithium ion secondary battery. |
