PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elevator device and an elevator control method in which lowering of operation efficiency and convenience of the elevator can be prevented and an elevator user can utilize comfortably.SOLUTION: An elevator device comprises: an entrance button which is provided at an entrance of each floor of a building and registers an entrance call for calling a car by user's operation; a detection part which is provided at the entrance and detects whether there is any person in the predetermined detection area of the entrance surrounding; a notifying part which is provided at the entrance; and a control part which, in a case that the detection part detects that there is no person in the detection area at the entrance of the floor where the entrance call is registered until the car arrives after a user operates the entrance button to register the entrance call, cancels the entrance call after the notifying part notifies the entrance surrounding of that the entrance call is cancelled. |
