PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope that can be adjusted to have a desired polarization observation condition by simple operation.SOLUTION: A microscope includes: a stage 21 on which a sample is mounted; a polarizer 33 that transmits only a vibrational component in one direction of illumination light projected from a side-illumination light source 32; an analyzer 35 that transmits only a vibrational component in a given direction of reflection light reflected from a sample S; an objective lens 22 that converges light transmitted through the analyzer 35 and forms an observation image of the sample S; an imaging unit 28 that generates image data of the sample S by receiving the light of the observation image formed by the objective lens 22 and performing photoelectric conversion; a display unit 4 capable of displaying an image corresponding to the image data generated by the imaging unit 28; a first holding unit 34 that rotates the polarizer 33 relatively with respect to the analyzer 35; and a display control unit 63 that causes the display unit 4 to display a list of a plurality of images each corresponding to a plurality of pieces of image data generated by the imaging unit 28. |
