PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil in which a filled resin is less likely to be cracked even if the ignition coil is made compact.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral core 40 abutting against a center core 30 and forming a closed magnetic circuit is configured to have a planar core central part 40a located above a secondary coil, and a forward protrusion 40b and a rearward protrusion 40c protruding downward from both ends of the core central part. Each terminal end of two protrusions is abutted against the center core directly or through a permanent magnet. Entire surface of each proximal end, and entire surface of the central part or a portion thereof are coated with an elastic body ER in a contact state. |
