PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content transmitter and a content receiver enabling an authorized user to transmit a content of a copyright protection target to the inside or the outside of residence through a wired or wireless network without exceeding from the range of a personal use, to enable the viewing of the content in the residence from outside of the residence.SOLUTION: A content transmitter 100 includes: a communication processing unit 113 which performs data transmission and reception to/from a content receiver through a network; equipment authentication processing unit 108 which authenticates the content receiver to transmit key information; and an encryption processing unit 112 which encrypts the content using the key information to transmit to the content receiver. The equipment authentication processing unit 108 performs first equipment authentication processing which performs the authentication of the content receiver, on the basis of a first residence confirmation method, and second equipment authentication processing which performs the authentication of the content receiver, on the basis of a second residence confirmation method for an external residence access. |
