A wire drawing device (3) has a floor/cover (4)in which above the floor (4) is positioned a drawing-disc drum (1) with cooling arrangement, and further a drawing disc drum-drive motor (9) as well as supply- and waste-disposal lines for the cooling arrangement are provided. The gearless drawing disc drum drive motor is arranged under the floor/cover (4) and is coaxially joined with the drawing disc drum (1), and on the operator/servicing side and the rear face are located the supply- and waste- disposal lines. An independent claim is included for a drawing-disc drum for a wire-drawing device. |
