PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device having a function of determining whether or not other radio equipment is present.SOLUTION: A radio equipment detection mobile telephone 1 is carried by a guard to be used for the execution of a duty. The radio equipment detection mobile telephone 1 includes a radio communication unit 10 and a radio equipment detection unit 20 housed in the same case. The radio communication unit 10 includes a function as a mobile telephone, and performs radio communication with a base station of a mobile telephone system. The radio equipment detection unit 20 detects remoteness from a user. The radio equipment detection unit 20 controls the radio communication unit 10 to a state of not performing radio signal transmission when not remote from the user, and in that state, detects a radio wave transmitted from other radio equipment. By this, the radio equipment detection unit 20 detects the other radio equipment such as a mobile telephone. |
