PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide adsorbent for separation and recovery of carbon dioxide which can adsorb carbon dioxide from a gas to be treated containing steam and carbon dioxide and desorb the adsorbed carbon dioxide at a relatively low temperature, and to provide a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus which can efficiently separate and recover carbon dioxide from the gas to be treated using the carbon dioxide adsorbent.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon dioxide adsorbent for separation and recovery of carbon dioxide from a gas to be treated containing steam and carbon dioxide, in which oxide particles containing at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of copper oxide, zinc oxide and manganese oxide are carried on an active carbon carrier. Further, there is provided a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus using such an adsorbent. |
