PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a carbide which allows production of a carbide of desired properties and a quality inspection method for carbide which allows simple determination of properties of a carbide.SOLUTION: Using a profile of a color difference and crushability of a carbide obtaining by measuring for each carbonization condition for production of the carbide, a first carbonization temperature corresponding to a carbide having desired crushability is determined from the profile. Optical characteristics of a carbide produced by a carbonization machine are measured, and a second carbonization temperature corresponding to the optical characteristics is determined. The production conditions of the carbonization are adjusted so that the second carbonization temperature conforms to the first carbonization temperature. |
