The connector (2) includes a pin contact (21), a housing (22), a sealing member (23) and a deflection limitation member (24). The pin contact (21) is rod-shaped and a side thereof makes contact with a mating contact (11). The housing (22) includes a through hole through which the pin contact (21) extends from a top to a bottom of the housing (22). The pin contact (21) extends through the through hole and projects from both the top and the bottom of the housing (22). The sealing member (23) seals the through hole around the pin contact (21). One said deflection limitation member (24) is fixed to one or both of the top and bottom of the housing (22). The deflection limitation member (24) applies a reaction force against a force exerted on a side of the pin contact (21) by the mating contact (11) so as to limit inclination of the pin contact (21). |
