Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing personalized pricing of medical services. A system can receive, from a healthcare provider, a range of prices for a medical service. The system can collect information associated with providing the medical service for a patient, and calculate a patient fairness factor score for the patient for the medical service based on the information. The patient fairness factor score can reflect an estimate of how complex providing that particular medical service for that particular patient is likely to be. The patient fairness factor score can closely affect the healthcare provider's cost to provide the medical service. Then the system can provide a price quote, within the range of prices and based on the patient fairness factor score, for the healthcare provider to provide the medical service for the patient. |
