PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of monitoring a powdered coal supply installation which detects easily an abnormality in a feed tank and eliminates the abnormality during operation.SOLUTION: A method of monitoring a powdered coal supply installation by pressurizing the inside of a feed tank 1 supplied with powdered coal by using a fluid for pressurization and blowing a fluidization fluid from a nozzle 3 for fluidization provided in the bottom part of the feed tank 1 to fluidize the powdered coal partially or entirely and delivering the powdered coal in a fluidized state, in order, to outside of the feed tank 1 comprises: measuring a temperature of the side wall surface of the feed tank 1; calculating the temperature change rate (°C/min) of the side wall surface of the feed tank 1 on the basis of the measured temperatures; and determining the fluidized state of the powdered coal to be abnormal when the temperature change rate (°C/min) of the side wall surface of the feed tank 1 in supplying the powdered coal to the feed tank 1 is lower than a threshold value. |
