PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine excellent in detachability of a recoil starter or the like, and improving handling characteristics or the like.SOLUTION: A recoil starter 15 and a fuel tank 16 are arranged while overlapping each other in plane view, and a fuel tank 16 is mounted over the recoil starter 15. A gap 25 of predetermined size is formed at a region where a top face of the recoil starter 15 and an under face of the fuel tank 16 are overlapped to each other therebetween. |
