PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat having a headrest which does not excessively incline by the force applied in a cross direction while suppressing resonance.SOLUTION: An upper frame member (32) extending in a width direction is provided to a vehicle seat as the skeleton of a seat back, and an installation member (36) for a vertically extending headrest is crossed in the front of the upper frame member. The installation member does not join directly to the upper frame member, and when a backward force is applied to the headrest (40), the upper frame member receives the installation member at the front. Thereby, the backward inclination of the headrest is regulated. A stopper (50) comprising a base part (53) in which an engaging hole (52) penetrates and a locking part (51) is assembled by inserting the engaging hole in the installation member, and the locking part is made to face the rear side of the upper frame member. When a forward force is applied to the headrest, the locking part of the stopper contacts the rear face of the upper frame member and thereby, the forward inclination of the headrest is regulated. |
