PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum insulator appropriate for that a gas barrier property provided in a film material is maintained in high degree even when a physical stress is applied.SOLUTION: A vacuum insulator includes a covering material, and a core material enclosed by and located within the covering material, and has the inside the pressure in which is reduced. The covering material includes a multi-layered structure having one or more layers of base material (X), one or more layers (Y), and one or more layers (Z). The layer (Y) includes aluminium atoms. The layer (Z) includes polymer (E) containing a monomer unit having phosphorus atoms. In the multi-layered structure, the layer (Y) and the layer (Z) of at least one group are laminated adjacently. |
