PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light emitting laser array that emits laser beams having different polarization directions.SOLUTION: There is provided a surface light emitting laser array that includes first surface light emitting lasers emitting laser beams in a vertical direction with respect to a substrate, and second surface light emitting lasers. The first surface light emitting lasers each emit laser beams having a polarization direction in a first direction, and the second surface light emitting lasers each emit laser beams having a polarization direction in a second direction; and the first direction and the second direction are orthogonal to each other. |
