A vehicle seat sliding apparatus includes: a first rail (3) fixed to one of a vehicle floor and a seat and having first vertical wall portions (11, 11), a first connection wall portion (12), and flanges (13, 13); and a second rail (4) fixed to the other one of the vehicle floor and the seat and having second vertical wall portions (14, 14), a second connection wall portion (15), outward extending wall portions (16, 16), and extending wall portions (17, 17), wherein locking claws (13b) are aligned side by side at tip ends of the flanges of the first rail; the second rail is provided with through-holes (25); the vehicle seat sliding apparatus further includes, a locking member having locking portions, and a biasing member; and the outward extending wall portions are provided with flat portions (29, 29). |
