A measuring device is provided. The measuring device comprises a carrying part, a weight detecting part, a display part and a control art. The control part sets the number of carrying objects of objects to be measured carried by the carrying part. Based on the repetitive error of the measuring device, the number of the carriers of the objects to be measured carried by the carrying part, and the piece weight of each object to be measured, the control part calculates the maximum number of the objects to be measured under the circumstance of not generating error in counting processing of the objects to be measured. The control part sets a specified initial value as the initial number of the carrying objects, and sets the maximum number calculated by a maximum-number calculating part as a new number of the carrying objects after a carrier number increasing or decreasing operation leading to increase or decrease of the number of objects to be detected on the carrying part by a user. The control part allows the display part to display the new number of the carrying objects so as to report the number to the user and allows the display part to display the number of the carriers so as to report to the user. |
