PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a medium abundant in convenience for defining a plurality of pieces of information in the same area of a dot pattern printed on a map, etc. and selectively outputting the pieces of information by an imaging operation, etc. by imaging means, and information output of the same.SOLUTION: An information output device comprises: conversion means for reading a dot pattern based on a predetermined rule on a medium surface on which the dot pattern is printed by being superposed on printing by imaging means, and converting the dot pattern into a code value or a coordinate value meant by the dot pattern; and output means for outputting information corresponding to the code value or the coordinate value, in which the conversion means reads coordinate information and code information from the dot pattern, reading information corresponding to each of the coordinate information and the code information from the storage means, outputting the information from the output means, and switching output information by a reading operation of the dot pattern on a medium surface of the imaging means. |
