PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of improving assemblability of a planar light source device.SOLUTION: A planar light source device 1 includes: a light source 2; a light guide 3 having a light emitting face 3a which emits light from the light source 2; and a reflection sheet 4 which is arranged on a non-light emitting face of the light guide 3 and which has a side part 4a that protrudes from the light guide 3 in a plane view. The planar light source 1 also includes: a rear frame 7 in which the light emitting face 3a includes the reflection sheet 4 and the light guide 3 in an exposable manner; and a positioning mechanism 6 which is formed by folding the side part 4a of the reflection sheet 4 in a chevron shape to the light emitting face 3a side, and which is provided at the inner side from the end of the side part 4a of the reflection sheet 4 in a plane view. |
