PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor including a compression mechanism (40) having pistons (21, 31) and cylinders (22, 32) on both sides of a middle plate (25) to form a plurality of cylinder chambers, for optimizing the thrust force of the pistons (21, 31) on the cylinder (22) and preventing the complication of a configuration, and a cost increase and reliability degradation along therewith.SOLUTION: Into a thrust mechanism (90) between the middle plate (25) and panel parts (22c, 32c) of the pistons (21, 31), intermediate-pressure refrigerant is introduced from a fourth suction flow path (74) and a first discharge flow path (81) formed in the middle plate (25) via intermediate-pressure introduction paths (96a, 96b). |
