PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cyclohexanone efficiently and inexpensively, that improves conversion of cyclohexane and selectivity of cyclohexanone, suppresses byproduct formation, and uses various cobalt compounds as a catalyst, in oxidation of cyclohexane.SOLUTION: A method for producing cyclohexanone that subjects raw material cyclohexane to oxidation by bringing it into contact with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas is characterized in that a mixture of cyclohexane subjected to oxidation conditions and a cobalt compound is added as a catalyst to raw material cyclohexane. |
