PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an Al plated steel wire without unevenness of a wire diameter and excellent in surface quality.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus of an Al plated steel wire, capable of performing molten Al plating on a steel wire surface by a method of continuously pulling a steel wire to a vapor phase space 8 after immersing the steel wire having a core wire diameter Dof 0.05-1.0 mm in a molten Al plating bath 1 comprises: a shield 4 for partitioning a bath surface part including a plating bath rising portion 5 and a vapor phase space 8 contacted with the bath surface from atmospheric environment 2; a nozzle 61 for blowing an inert gas on the plating bath rising portion 5 inside the shield 4; and an outlet 62 for introducing an oxygen containing gas into the vapor phase space 8 inside the shield 4. |
