Provided is a deposit wiping device that enables deposits (water droplets, mud, cloudiness, and so forth) on a lens surface to be reliably removed, achieves a structure that is highly reliable (vibration-resistant, shock-resistant, durable) and suitable for a vehicle-mounted environment, is equipped with a mechanism capable of wiping a curved surface such as the surface of a fish-eye lens, and can be produced at a low cost and made small. This deposit wiping device is equipped with: a wiper blade (14) for wiping the surface of a lens (11); a wiper arm (21) to which the wiper blade (14), a magnetic body (27), and a permanent magnet (26) are fixed; a case (13) that supports the wiper arm (21); and a coil (32) that is provided in the case (13). The coil (32) is provided at a position that overlaps with the moving range of the magnetic body (27) and the permanent magnet (26), and the magnetic body (27) and the permanent magnet (26) are driven by adjusting a magnetic force generated by the coil (32) in order to wipe deposits off the lens (11) with the wiper arm (21). |
