PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a drive waveform signal which is resistant to disturbance and is accurate, in a liquid ejecting apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: (A) a control unit that has a digital signal generation unit for generating a digital signal defining a waveform shape of a signal, an analog voltage signal generation unit for generating an analog voltage signal on the basis of the digital signal, and a current signal generation unit for generating a current signal of magnitude corresponding to a waveform of the analog voltage signal; (B) a head unit which has a voltage signal generation unit for generating a voltage signal by detecting potential difference between two points which are different from each other in a path through which the current signal flows, and by amplifying the potential difference, and an element which is driven by the voltage signal, and causes liquid to be ejected from a nozzle; and (C) a transmission unit which transmits the current signal from the control unit to the head unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
