PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing a developer from coming into contact with a developer carrier before the use thereof, while preventing the device from increasing in size, an image forming apparatus including the developing device, and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: When a developing device 5 is attached with a shielding sheet 70, on a lower end 70a side relative to a part that shields a developer passage opening of the shielding sheet 70 on a cross section orthogonal to an axial direction, the shielding sheet 70 passes a doctor gap and the end of the shielding sheet 70 is located outside the doctor gap; and on an upper end 70b side relative to a part that shields the developer passage opening of the shielding sheet 70, the shielding sheet 70 passes a cover opening 580 provided on a development cover 58c and the end of the shielding sheet 70 is located outside the development cover 58c. |
