PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin frame-attached electrolyte membrane-electrode structure for fuel batteries which allows a simple structure to minimize a damage or the like to a solid polymer electrolyte membrane included in a stepped MEA by firmly joining, to the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, a resin frame member so as to extend around and along the outer periphery of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane.SOLUTION: A resin frame-attached electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 10 comprises: an electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 10a; and a resin frame member 24 integrated with the electrolyte membrane-electrode structure. The resin frame member 24 has an inside bulging portion 24a therein; an adhesive-coating portion 25a is provided on the bulging portion 24a to extend around and along a portion of the resin frame member abutting against the electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 10a. The inside bulging portion 24a has an inner peripheral protrusion 26b1 provided thereon. The inner peripheral protrusion 26b1 directly touches an outer peripheral end portion 22ae of a second electrode catalyst layer 22a in a direction of lamination. |
