PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of capturing a preferable video image even in the case where a plurality of imaging apparatuses are present, each imaging apparatus being configured to image a subject by shedding infrared light.SOLUTION: The imaging system includes a plurality of imaging apparatuses 108 and a camera switcher 180 that is a synchronizing signal supply device for supplying a synchronizing signal Ssync to each of the imaging apparatuses 108. The imaging apparatus 108 includes: a synchronizing signal receiving section for receiving the synchronizing signal Ssync; a floodlighting control section for controlling a plurality of infrared floodlights capable of shedding infrared light so as to selectively shed the infrared light in timing defining the synchronizing signal Ssync received by the synchronizing signal receiving section as a criterion; and an imaging section for imaging the subject in the state where the infrared light is shed by the infrared floodlights. |
