An intake pipe structure for an internal combustion engine is provided. The intake pipe structure includes an air flow meter (30) arranged in an intake pipe (20) and a pair of flow regulating plates (22). The air flow meter has an entrance (35) and exits (40). The flow regulating plates (22) are located at positions separated from the air flow meter (30) and extend in a direction of flow of intake air to cover the exits (40) of the air flow meter (30) from opposite sides.
