PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus configured so that a light emitting unit in which a power supply substrate and a semiconductor light-emitting element are integrated is held by a lighting fixture, capable of improving heat radiation of the power supply substrate.SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus 10 comprises: a light-emitting unit 200 that includes a semiconductor light-emitting element 212b and a power supply unit 220 supplying electric power to the semiconductor light-emitting element 212b; and a lighting fixture 100 holding the light-emitting unit 200 downward if a main emission direction of light from the semiconductor light-emitting element 212b is a downward direction. The lighting fixture 100 includes: a storage concave portion 111 opening downward; and a cover member 120 fixed to an inner surface 111a of the storage concave portion 111. The power supply unit 220 includes a power supply case 222 that constitutes an outer shell of the power supply unit 220. In a state in which the light-emitting unit 200 is held by the lighting fixture 100, at least a part of the power supply case 222 is located within the storage concave portion 111 and the cover member 120 is in surface contact with the power supply case 222 within the storage concave portion 111. |
