PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means that allows side guides for aligning the side ends of sheets stored in a tray to smoothly move in the sheet width direction.SOLUTION: A tray has a bottom plate 75 on which sheets are placed, and side guides 77 slidable in the left/right direction 9 with respect to the bottom plate 75. The side guides 77 have slide plates 101 supported by the bottom plate 75, side plates 102 in contact with the side ends of sheets, and an operating section 103 to be gripped in order to slide the side guides 77. The bottom plate 75 has: rail grooves 121, 122 formed at a position different from the operating section 103 in the front/rear direction 8 so as to guide the side guides 77; and ribs 124 erected from a placing surface 76 facing the operating section 103, and extended in the left/right direction 9. Inclined parts 110 are formed at ends in the left/right direction 9 of the slide plates 101.
