PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a user who is not a system administrator to easily perform registration of authentication information including information on an IC card used for authentication in a compound machine.SOLUTION: When received a request to register user information from a client device 102 operated by a user, a compound machine 101 stores the user information. Subsequently, when received a request to register authentication information through an operation instruction by the user, the compound machine 101 receives the input of a user name and a password. When determined that user information including the combination of the received user name and password is registered in a user information management table, the compound machine 101 creates authentication information in which IC card information acquired through a card reader is associated with the user information and stores the authentication information in an authentication information table. |
