PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chill car cooling controller capable of suppressing idling for cooling a cargo compartment during a car stop.SOLUTION: At cold storage start time t1 which is a predetermined time before arrival at a stop point, cold storage control is started to lower the temperature in a refrigerator down to a cold storage target temperature lower than a target value (normal target temperature) in normal control. The cold storage target temperature is obtained by subtracting an increment in in-refrigerator temperature during a stop in which an outside air temperature is taken into consideration from a normal target temperature. Once it is determined that the vehicle arrives and stops at the stop position, a compressor 210 is stopped, and the temperature falls to the cold storage target temperature at a point t2 of time when the vehicle reaches the stop position. It thereby takes a time for the in-refrigerator temperature to rise up to the normal target temperature and the compressor 210 can be stopped during the time, so that idling can be suppressed. |
