PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fluorescent substance obtained using a component derived from lignin as a raw material.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a fluorescent substance obtained by culturing Pseudomonas sp. ITH-SA-1 strain (NITE P-1521) under syringaldehyde coexistence and to a method for producing the fluorescent substance which has a process of culturing Pseudomonas sp. ITH-SA-1 strain (NITE P-1521) under syringaldehyde coexistence. |
