PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control device which simplifies monitoring processing of the number of printing and improves monitoring accuracy with regard to life monitoring of a printing head, suppresses a cost of a printer and suppresses the lowering of printing speed.SOLUTION: A printer control device includes a count calculation part 6, a count extraction part 8, a judgment control part 10 and a storage part 12. The count calculation part calculates a printing standard value based on a printing rate of printing data 4 and calculates a printing estimation value from the printing standard value. The count extraction part extracts a printing count value for a specified printing pin from the printing data. The judgment control part judges whether the extracted printing count value is the set conditions or more with respect to the printing estimation value and selects the printing count value or the printing estimation value according to a judgment result. The storage part accumulates the printing count value or the printing estimation value selected by the judgment control part into the total count value and stores the total count value. |
